UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND COLLEGE PARK

The University of Maryland, College Park (often called "Maryland" or "UMD") is the flagship institution of the University System of Maryland and the state’s largest public research university. Located in College Park, just outside Washington, D.C., UMD is a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU) and is classified as an R1: Doctoral University for its very high research activity.
